Biographical / Historical
Archie James Pickering (born 1905) and his wife Idelle Evelyn Pride Pickering (born 1901) initiated numerous genealogical research projects which occupied over twenty years of the couple’s lives. Mr. and Mrs. Pickering were able to collect voluminous information about where their families lived ranging back to the American Revolution. Mr. and Mrs. Pickering also collected massive amounts of information on other families in south Mississippi. Archie James Pickering and Idelle Evelyn Pride Pickering both died in 1988.
