Biographical / Historical
This collection consists of historical materials concerning the Keesler family of Greenwood, Mississippi. Some topics include World War I, Mississippi College for Women, and Keesler Air Force Base.
Ella Fountain Keesler Pratt was the sister of Second Lieutenant Samuel Reeves Keesler, Jr. (1896-1918). Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi was named in his honor.
