Gene D. Saucier was born September 25, 1931 to A.L. Saucier and Myrtle West Saucier.

He recieved a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University, and a Master of Science & Ed.D from the University of Southern Mississippi.

"USAF squadron commander and pilot; Dean, Special Academic Services, USM; Asst to V.P. Business & Finance, USM, Member of Miss. House of Rep. Pres., SACRAO (13 State ed. org); Dir., Servicemen’s Opportunity College, Washington, D.C.; Ch., U.S. Term Limits for Mississippi; Pres., Forrest/Lamar CFA, 4 times; V.P., Pinewood Audubon Chapter; Boy Scout Master.

Pineburr BSA Award; Forrest County Tree Farmer of the Year; Mississippi Tree Farmer of the Year; Forrest County Conservation Award, Mississippi Wildlife Fed; Legislator of the Year, Coast Conservation Assn.; Forrest/Lamar Republican Party.

Member, Honorary Education Societies, ODK and PDK; Marquis Who’s Who in America, 1985-2020; Member, Sigma Chi Fraternity; Member, The Order of the First Families of Mississippi."
