Professor of music at The University of Southern Mississippi, Joe Berryman was a noted bandsman in the South, headed the State Lions Club Band for many years, and conducted many other special bands throughout the South. The collection includes musical instruments, trophies, plaques, awards, manuscripts of musical scores written by Berryman, published music, research notes, composing aids and notes.
