Eugene V. Cameron served aboard the U.S.S. Biloxi during his tenure in the U.S. Navy during World War II. The U.S.S. Biloxi was commissioned in 1943 and served in the Pacific Ocean. The ship was decommissioned in 1946.

The Collection contains an audio cassette and typed notes of his memories as a scout in the First Platoon of “D” Dog Troop in the 94th Recon of the 14th Armored Division in France and Germany during World War II. The tape was recorded on May 31, 1999.

Rimer papers are an engrossing collection of materials that chronicle Rimer’s life from 1940 when he was stationed at Camp Beauregard, Louisiana to August of 1945, shortly before he returned home from Europe. Over half of the collection consists of correspondence and the remainder consists of photos, postcards, and service medals.
The Dale Milton Titler Papers contain manuscripts, typescripts, research, correspondence, oral history interviews, book reviews, and articles accumulated by historian and author Dale M. Titler between 1945-2011.
