This collection consists of one video of what appears to be the Freedom Day protests of January 22, 1964 that occurred for voter registration outside of the courthouse in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Hattiesburg Civil Rights Film is of particular interest to researchers studying the Civil Rights Movement, Mississippi, and Hattiesburg.

Form of Material One DVD copy of a 13-minute film believed to have been made in about 1927 by a member of the Guild Family, owners of the Finkbine Lumber Company in Wiggins, Mississippi. Much of the footage was shot in Wiggins, and the film is circa dated from scenes of brick streets being constructed in downtown Wiggins. Records indicate that the bricklaying began in December 1927.
