Seventy-nine three inch x five inch glass lantern slides, depicting lumber and logging research from the late 1920's and early 1930's. Slides taken at lumber mills and yards in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida document types of lumber piles and methods of treating lumber. Other slides document blue staining and microscopic views of fungi on lumber.
