There are also forty-one pages of letters left on a tree felled in the photographer’s yard. This collection is particularly useful for researchers studying Hurricane Katrina, Mississippi storms, and public reactions to natural disasters.
Andrew Schiffrin Freedom Summer Interview
One compact disk containing an interview with Mississippi Freedom Summer volunteer, Andrew Schiffrin. Mr. Schiffrin served in Meridian, and the interview was conducted by a reporter, shortly after the disappearance of Civil Rights workers, Andrew Goodman, Michael Schwerner, and James Chaney. The interview is a little more than five minutes in length.
