The Stephen C. Rose papers include a broad range of materials spanning a significant portion of Mr. Rose’s life. His relations with Will D. Campbell and his participation in the SCLC’s Student Interracial Ministry project should be of interest to researchers of civil rights activities in the southern United States. Ernest I. Watson Autobiography
The autobiography of a 50-year journalist in Louisiana and Mississippi who recounts his life growing in the south and remanences about his childhood days. Mr. Watson recounts his memories from his past life with his grandparents and his upbringing in this era that produced “The Greatest Generation.”
